Responsibilities

The Chef de Partie will be responsible for supervising the preparation of food items fulfilling the guests´ orders, guaranteeing the highest quality and the recipe and “mise en place” standards, demonstrating passion for service, punctuality and team working

The Chef de Partie will develop and mentor the junior members (commis de cuisine and apprentices) and assure the guests receive a dreamy experience and the highest levels of service in compliance with HACCP and the Hotel standards.

• Responsible for the efficient and daily “mise en place” in order to maximize time versus productivity
• Overseeing the preparation of all courses in order to satisfy fully the guests´ orders, assuring the highest quality
• Responsible for the setting up operations and dating all food containers, guaranteeing that all perishables are kept at correct conditions
• Synergical collaboration with the Breakfast Chef, the Sous Chef and the Executive Chef
• Team building (developing and mentoring the commis de cuisine and apprentices)
• Proactivity, flexibility and openness to cooperate with the other cooking lines when necessary and required
• Punctuality, great attention to details, customer centricity, high team working.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years´ work experience at a high-level Restaurant/Hotel in the same role
• Italian and English confidence are mandatory. German language skills are also required (minimum B1)
• Customer centricity, high attention to details, problem solving, punctuality, proactivity, flexibility and team working skills are a must
• Legal right to work in Italy.
